Fantastic

Fantastic shoe! The Wavewalker walking shoe is the best pair of sneakers that I have ever worn. Finally a company that understands wide feet. I have 4E/5E feet and other companies try to stuff you in and it's always uncomfortable. Spira told me to go to the 6E and OMG! It's bad enough trying to find comfortable 4E shoes but Spira has quite a few. Fit and feel very comfortable. NO squeezing on the outer parts of the feet. Length was great, not pressing the toes! Even when you tie them they do not press on the feet. None at this point. Will have to see how the soles wear.

Update to previous 1 star review

As an update to my previous review, I contacted Spira directly. They not only accepted the return on their shoes I bought from this company, they gave full credit for a more expensive pair, the WaveMax, that are the most comfortable shoes I've walked in. Again, I don't understand how you can evaluate a pair of shoes without trying them, and would not buy from Orthoticshop based on their return policy.

Why I won't purchase from this company again

The shoes are comfortable on my feet, but caused significant knee pain within 1/4 mile of walking. My 1 star review doesn't reflect the shoe, but this company's return policy. They refuses to exchange shoes that have been worn at all, but how is one to know if they are comfortable without trying? Their service rep recommended I lie: "You could try to clean them up so they look brand new, but the warehouse may reject them." I won't lie, just as I won't purchase from this company in the future.
