These shoes accomodate an orthotic well and are good for having to walk around or climb a lot of stairs at work No horrible looking So far the velcro holds fast but don't know if that changes over time.

Absolutely wonderful! I love these shoes! Comfortable My custom orthotic fits without having to remove the shows original insole, providing extra padding and comfort. The color bled onto my socks on the first wearing. I rubbed the shoes edges and straps with a cloth prior to wearing again and there was no color bleed.
