These are the most comfortable shoes for me now, as I have custom shoe inserts made for me. After removing the original inserts, the custom inserts fit just fine. These shoes also offer some added ankle support and are easy to lace up and tie. I was at the point of possibly having shoes made, but these eliminate that need. These shoes are a bit costly, but with my age of 73 and a foot size of 15. 6E, not to mention the comfort of them, it is a perfect purchase. I will be getting another pair so I can alternate wearing them

It is almost impossible to find a work/hiking boot in a 4E width. I plan to use these boots for both working and hiking. Very satisfied with the width. I plan to buy a different insert for this boot. The one it came with is not uncomfortable, just doesn't provide maximum comfort to the bottom of my foot like I feel a $300.00 pair of boots should. If the boots hold up for 2-3 years I will be happy. Right now I'm just excited to find a boot that fits my wide foot comfortably. Looking forward to using these boots in the field and while working. Finally, a 4E wide boot that is comfortable. Inserts are not as comfortable as I would expect in a $300.00 pair of boots. A little annoying considering the price point. Now have to shell out more money for a different insert.

Im 64 yrs. old and this is by far the best work shoe Ive ever owned I work outside in all kinds of weather, these boots are warm and comfortable, strong and long lasting. Im on my third pair. They also help with foot pain that I get with other brands. I love em!

A good boot that feels great as soon as I put it on!! rare for that to happen,but drew rarely lets me down. The orthotic fits in fine. I have 3 pairs of socks on 2 thin 1 winter still a little room to move. hopefully with the right socks my feet will be warm. The price really too much so I know the mark up is huge.I know it as lot of good and helpful items listed but don't pray on disable poor and handicap who our fix income.I know there ways too get help but some us NOPE.Hey Ill still buy drew but sales and good deal I'm looking for.Thanks for the opportunity to wright.

I have, to put it mildly, problem feet: big, wide flat feet with Morton's Toe and a bunion. Thus, finding comfortable footwear is a significant challenge, and my quest was made even more challenging when I needed waterproof boots for a month-long trip abroad that would involve a lot of walking. I perused the Orthotic Shop, and the reviews for this shoe convinced me to place my order, despite the rather high price. Ill confess that when they arrived, I was a bit taken back by their size. My size 11 4W looked disturbingly similar to the boots worn by Boris Karloff as Frankenstein, but after wearing them for even a short time, I was more than happy to be Karloffs double. Echoing what others have said, this boot is easily the best piece of footwear I've ever had: comfortable, rugged, waterproof (and, boy, has that been tested) and surprisingly light weight. These are amazing boots. Comfort, rugged, waterproof Price is a bit high, but worth it.
