These shoes are so pretty and really well made, but the wide is really wide--I cannot keep them on my feet! I have to wear inserts and usually that makes my shoes fit even tighter, but it did not make a difference with this shoes. I'm bummed, because I love them. When I walk, my heal falls out on every step. I tried heal grips, but that did not work either. really pretty, the heal is a nice, comfortable height--just high enough to look dressy for career clothes, but low enough to be comfortable when you are on your feet all day. The shoes is really fine quality! I thought the description said removable insoles for replacing with inserts, but they were very difficult to remove (again, because of the excellent construction). I had a battle taking the insoles out, and so now I fear I cannot return them. If you are borderline wide width, I would go with a medium width instead of a wide width.
