Purchased these shoes for my husband. He has a bad back and really high arches so it's been difficult to find a comfortable, pain relieving and supporting shoe with the looks he desired. This is the third set of ridge
This is the third set of ridge walkers that I have bought from the Orthotic Shop. In my work I am on innumerable construction sites and other tough irregular sites. But, by hobby of backpacking the Montana Rockies, the Cumberland Plateau, and Appalachian Mountains are an even greater challenge. Through it all, these are the only boots to relieve my plantar fasciitis and protect me for flare-ups. I hope they help others, too.

I have worn these boots every day for a year, unheard of with other boots, wish they were higher, My ankles are bone to bone, and I use Orthodox inserts, and normally my boots turn in after a few months, not these boots..The Best I ever had, and I'mm 65...saving for another pair...God Bless...oh yea nothing is out of place on them, soles are in excellent shape... Well made, they last, even the laces are the same...I hunt/fish in them and were all day and in the house because I can't walk without shoes... Would love 8in.ones...
