My son has AFOs and we STRUGGLE to find shoes that fit his orthotics. We get the XW and they are an excellent fit, once we remove the provided supports from the shoe - always a little snug the first couple of days, but then the shoes seem to stretch a bit in all the right places to allow an easier fit. When we first started buying these, had to do a little "back and forth" to get the right size, but the Orthotic Shop worked well with us on the exchanges to make sure my son had what he needs! Fits AFOs I wish there were more colors than the black and the Blue/White combo. These are great shoes and more colors would be even better!
