Cold Rush's holistic design features a durable motor, a stronger flow rate and an industry-leading ice-to-water ratio that insures longer cooling times. Yet, it is whisper-quiet and compact, weighting just 2.1 kilograms.

By incorporating the same durable motor used in much larger mobile air conditioners and refrigerators, Cold Rush achieves a higher flow rate than its top selling competitors. Even at elevated heights, Cold Rush provides consistent cooling and excellent compression.

The water inlet is at the bottom of the reservoir to achieve a 3.80 ratio of ice to water. Also, the motor is on the outside of the chamber, so less heat is transferred to the water. The combination insures greater ice durability and longer cooling times.

Cold Rush uses a brushless motor, driven by magnets, instead of the traditional gear pump found in most cold therapy units. The result is a whisper-quiet unit that allows patients to get the rest they need to properly rehabilitate from their injuries.

LOVE this

LOVE this machine. Far better than messing with gel cold packs or bags of ice. Using after arthroscopic knee surgery. I can usually get an evening and the following morning out of one load of ice. No mess. Adjustable cold. Can wrap around entire joint. Might be heavy, bulky for older folks. But I believe there is a compact version which might be easier to carry/fill/ empty.

Overall, we are pleased with the Cold Therapy System. It seems to work well. It is nice and compact and it doesn't leak (unlike some others we tried). Set up is easy and instructions are clear. It seems to provide cooling for a fairly on time on a single filling of ice and water. The unit is very quiet when running. The knee pad, which we purchased, is adequate but could provide more coverage. The straps that hold the pad in place are comfortable and nicely padded and contoured; I would like them to be a bit longer but they work okay as is. Overall, we are satisfied with the Cold Therapy System.I would recommend it. Compact and easily portable. Very quiet to operate. Everything fits inside the unit. Good instructions. Gets cold enough to do some good. The only gripe is that coverage of knee pad is a little skimpy for individuals with large legs, especially if cold therapy is needed on both sides of the knee simultaneously, which is usually the case.
